Hello, I had a question on whether or not there are any limitations on the hardware or android models you can install Ubuntu touch on? I'd like to port Ubuntu touch too a very odd/unique device that from 2013/14 that is not a "phone" per say but is basically running android. It's running a very old version of android, originally it was on 4.4 and is now on 5.1. So I'm just looking into whether how feasible it is or if there are any limitations on hardware?

As for what the hardware is if you're curious, I'm looking into or wanting too port Ubuntu touch too Google Glass, the prototype explorer edition. I know that sounds very strange and quirky, but I find the Glass to be an interesting piece of tech with its HUD. The glass originally was running Google OS that actually was well suited for the Glass but as you might know Glass was discontinued after only a few years and only Enterprise received support until 2023. No one basically developed any software or apks for normal consumers. Since getting the Glass I rooted and oem unlocked it, so I could put Android 5.1 on there, but android 5.1 is also out of support and depreciated and unsurprisingly not very usable. I'm not saying Ubuntu touch would be any more usable, but at least you'd have an up to date os that is running Linux so long as you can still use the touch sensors on Ubuntu touch. I think if you could get a light weight Ubuntu touch with a more app like menu (Think Windows 8 or that silly Rabbit device) it could be more usable. If you did not know back in 2014/2015 a Google Glass developer put Ubuntu on his Google glass, P.Y Laligand, although from what I can tell he was just running a terminal.

(Also on the off chance someone says I'm voiding my warranty, the warranty for these things is long gone)

For what the specific Glass hardware is using, its very old hardware and I'll list it below:
      640×360 Himax HX7309 LCoS display
5-megapixel camera, capable of 720p video recording
      Wi-Fi 802.11b/g
      Bluetooth
16 GB storage (12 GB available)
Texas Instruments OMAP 4430 SoC 1.2 GHz Dual (ARMv7)
      1 GB RAM

I know its a very very very long shot that Ubuntu touch could be put on here, but I think it would be usable and fun if it is possible. If not I plan on using parts from the glass with a Raspberry pi for a project Im working on.

If anyone could offer me some help or tell me if its possible to port Ubuntu touch over, Id appreciate any help or advice. I've taken a look through the porting documentation guide, but I wanted too ask about hardware limitations and ask if its even possible before going down some rabbit hole. Thanks in advance.
