postmarketos has a great bootstrap script, to get started, to not bloat main system, to automate rutine processes, guide on the porting process, etc.

Does anyone interested in adopting the script, or making own script for ubports bootstrap ? With text based gui and stuff

@grenudi In a community project, everyone only does what he or she is interested in and wants to spend some freetime on. If you think, that something is important to have, but can not find anyone wanting to work on it for free, you will either have to do it yourself or pay someone to do it for you.
If you later want to merge your work into the project, you also need to do some documentation and explain, why you think this benefits the project.

For the ubports community, there are different main channels to communicate on: this forum, the Q&A, GitLab and Telegram groups

The Q&A is good for getting general answers to questions around the OS, if you did not get an answer on the forum. But you will maybe need to ask a short and easy to understand question in a nice way, some days before the Q&A, when you want, that anyone looks into it: "Have you concidered...? Do you think it would be a good idea, if I start working on this?"

@johndoe Thank you for the clarification. I really didn't know that.
At one hand I'm sorry that I use such harsh wordings, but on the other hand the post has 385 views over 10 months and its only after these harsh wordings I get some conversation on the subject...
Hatred is bad, but ignorance is far worse. And I don't think I'm the only one, I see people post feedback, suggestions or whatever, and it gets 0 replies the same way, and people just feel not need here, and don't see clear ways to contribute. Its a problem in general, but it does not justify my offensive behavior, I acknowledge that, and apologize for being rude, offensive, and dismissive of the community's achievements. I am sorry.

For future readers - they are not sorry. It's just yet another attempt at gaining sympathy after going a step too far (this time after they got timed out on Telegram).

They argue in bad faith and seem to think they are always the smartest person in the room, forcing their genius ideas on everyone. And once that's rejected they go with some sob story about how they just wanted to help and are being treated unfairly.

                Let's not feed the troll.
