      The bluetooth file transfer is not working. Pairing as audio device is the only option.

        In my experience for BT connction, the pairing is more reliable if initiated from the phone fisrt.
        But BT has to be improved, for sure.

          @thomasf There was an app before to transfer files via Bluetooth from a device to another one: https://open-store.io/app/ubtd.fourloop2002

          But if I remember well, its development has ended, so that the app is no longer compatible with Focal nor Noble. So by now there are no known options. (Correct me if I'm wrong).

            As we have ssh copy capabilties, i don't use this kind of things.

              strange that an app could disappear like that, I tracked its source code here:

              https://github.com/floop2/ubtd

              it may be that its origin was unclear (there is no LICENSE file and the repo owner states that it was not an original work). So the release in the store under the GPL could have been invalid.
