Does the forum platform support voting anonymously?

I am looking at how to organise the voting for the Community Favourite Awards.
The easiest is to have people vote openly on the forum (ie I post the nominees as comments and people can up vote the nominee/comment they vote for).
But this is not anonymous nor does it restrict it to one vote per person.

Does the forum platform have a 'survey' or poll function?

Alternatively, Could I set up the voting somewhere else and ask someone with admin rights on the platform to add the email for everyone on the forum to the voting platform?
This way everyone can get an email to vote?

Nevermind, I will just ask people to send their votes in a private message to me and Ill add it up manually.

Having an option to create a poll would be nicer. This kind of forum is new to me so i don't know if such a feature is available. It would make it a lot easier in this case instead of sending direct messages plus more fun to follow.

NodeBB has a plugin for polling, it's apparently not installed (installing plugins has a maintenance cost as any plugin can break when updating the forum software, and a voting plugin is probably a bit more concerning than a simpler plugin since users could start polls that may be deemed unsuitable that the forum maintainer would have to cleanup), it does not support voting anonymously.
