I have Ubuntu Touch 24.04-1 installed on my Fairphone 5.
Since I am not happy with it I would like to switch to e/OS.
For this end I would like to check the Android Security Patch Level of the phone.
        How do I do this?

@kaelte Can you even check the Android Security Patch Level of a device if Android is not installed on it?

I would assume you'd first need to flash the stock OS on it. There are probably other forums better suited to ask about that. But it is possible someone might come along shortly who can also help you here.

@arubislander Ubuntu Touch on Fairphone is build on Halium 11 and thus relies on an installed Android 13.

Howeever using adb; I get a different version:

            ~ adb shell getprop ro.build.version.release
            11

            ~ adb shell getprop ro.build.version.security_patch
            2024-02-05

For the installation of Ubuntu Touch I had to downgrad Fairphone 5 to Android 13,
which had the security patch level of 05 June 2024.

@kaelte So you've answered your own question?

Seems like you are OK as long as the current security patch version is lower than the e/OS version you want to install.

@arubislander I was not sure whether the Android Security Patch Level may change after Ubuntu Touch has been installed.

But I was told in the e/OS Forum that it does not.

                I managed to install e/OS.
