I have asked for an updated anbox-boot-turbo.img file in latest Q&A and Marius said it just need updating. Could this be fulfilled? I want to help with testing (probably more people are interested in this) and report back the bugs, please update the files, thank you.

@stefano as I see it, the current situation is that there are a lot of people willing to do testing (me included) but there's just a small bunch of developers. Yes, a really really small bunch.

It's understandable, we all want more and want it now, but the danger is to put too much pressure on developers, and that's my main concern.

We all should focus in the primary goal now, the transition to 16.04, and then we can ask the developers for all the bell and whistles.

I hope you understand what I'm trying to say, I'm happy to see such energy in our vibrant community, but with our current manpower we have to choose our priorities wisely.

I've asked Marius about this again. The boot image has to be somewhere... but I don't know where.

I think that when Ubuntu touch can use the android app in a stable way, the level of users will rise a lot, for me there are three indispensable android app, Opera, Telegram and VLC, but all in their time.

                regards....

I tried Anbox today but after flashing the anbox-boot-turbo.img the sim card was not recognized anymore (https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/774). Is this a problem with the image? Is this one of the issues that will be fixed? - or it's some other problem?

@mihael Yes, that's the problem with that Anbox, and OSK is not working so apps can't be really used.

How come it works for some people and not for others? Are there differences in the Pro 5 devices? Or am I doing something wrong?

@doniks Sorry, my bad. But the same apply for Anbox as well. @mariogrip has a working version, but he is too busy to update the images, so nothing else could be done unless we got them.
