Anbox

@advocatux Thank you.

I think that when Ubuntu touch can use the android app in a stable way, the level of users will rise a lot, for me there are three indispensable android app, Opera, Telegram and VLC, but all in their time.

@unisuperbox Still no update from Marius on that Anbox images? Could you ask him again, please? Thanks
-
I tried Anbox today but after flashing the anbox-boot-turbo.img the sim card was not recognized anymore (https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/774). Is this a problem with the image? Is this one of the issues that will be fixed? - or it's some other problem?
-
@mihael Yes, that's the problem with that Anbox, and OSK is not working so apps can't be really used.
-
How come it works for some people and not for others? Are there differences in the Pro 5 devices? Or am I doing something wrong?
-
@mihael I don't think anyone has managed to Bluetooth get working properly on Pro 5 , or??? Anyone to confirm a working one?
-
-
@doniks Sorry, my bad. But the same apply for Anbox as well. @mariogrip has a working version, but he is too busy to update the images, so nothing else could be done unless we got them.
-
@stefano Ah, ok, it is his phone then that I saw on youtube showing Anbox working on Pro 5..
-
@mihael Yes, so we just wait for @mariogrip to share it with us

@stefano There is also this issue opened: https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/774#issuecomment-417933031
