@advocatux I know it's not very simple for WIFI, HOTSPOT and Nexus 5..
Yes WIFI and HOTSPOT works more or less for me with Ubuntu touch 15.04 in every channel (dev, rc, stable) with a workaround to avoid freezing the phone when i switch off it and then switch on.
I notice WIFI works with Ubuntu touch 16.04 when i configure the phone for the first time (dev or rc) BUT if i switch off the phone and after switch on, wifi doesn't work not at all but the remote control of the wifi stay green.
If i reboot the phone, i can again configure the wifi and it's work. For HOTSPOT, it's ''unstable'' as on 15.04.

@domubpkm it seems something wrong is happening with wifi on xenial. You can see it here https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues?utf8=✓&q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+wifi

Particularly your issue looks like this https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/532
