I flashed UT on my Nexus 5 a few days back. It's a great experience so far. Just one issue I am facing is with charging. It takes more than 12 hours to charge from say 5%-10% to 100%. This is ridiculously slow. Attaching the charging graph and OS info for reference.

@curiousrebel what UT version is that? It looks to me that you have the "old" Canonical version, is that right?

What OS was running in your phone before? Did the battery worked fine then?

@advocatux It was running Marshmallow before. And yes battery was fine then.
About UT version, I not really sure, It was the default stable picked up by ubports-installer.0.1.20-beta. I am a newbie in UT world, sorry!

@curiousrebel don't worry, you have Ubuntu 15.04 (r3) in your phone and that's the right UBports stable version right now.

I don't know why your battery is acting weird if it was working fine before with Android, I only can tell you that that doesn't happen to me with my Nexus 5

@curiousrebel Please try a different charger if you can. The one that works on my nexus5 takes longer to charge my m10 and visa versa. Might be worth a go.

I'm having similar problems in my Nexus 5 running 16.04rc - I tried using a different charger - the one from my Huawei p9 (checked that it had same output voltage) - and now it seems to be better.
