@lakotaubp Is there a way to access, e.g., libreoffice?
How do you delete a container?
I have tried to create a new container, and a new one, called 'Xenial Xerus' has been created —I didn't choosed the name. Empty. Now I have got to start the installation of geogebra. Let's see what happens...Now I have geogebra installed, but I have no idea on how to launch it...
-
@juangrodeja To delete a container swipe right on the container name and press the red bin.
-
@juangrodeja To install apps tap on container name, then press the plus sign top right corner select your option. Wait till the circle stops spinning. Restart device go to XApp scope, pull down on scope window to refresh it the app should show there. Tap to launch.
-
@lakotaubp Thanks. I succeded in deleting the old container, but Geogebra does not show up no matter how much I pull down and release in the Desktop Applications scope.
-
@juangrodeja There may be an issue with with the X apps scope when going from 15.04 to 16.04 without using the wipe option on the installer. Will get back to you shortly.
-
@juangrodeja It seems that the related files under the scripts below can be deleted, then delete the container, restart the devices and see how you go. I cannot guarantee it works as haven't tried it yet and have not seen any results. So have a look if you wish or hang on till its confirmed. Thanks to
Hugo Venhurst and @advocatux for the info so far.~/.config/unity-scopes/libertine-scope.ubuntu_libertine-scope

Edit You also need to delete this symlink and reboot
/opt/click.ubuntu.com/libertine-scope.ubuntu/current -
I have now seen one reply saying that deleting the two files in /opt/click.ubuntu.com/libertine-scope.ubuntu/ they are /current and /1.3.2.3.3 and restarting does fix the problem.
just out of inetrest can these be deleted using File Manager. I couldn't find one. -
@lakotaubp Following these last instructions, the problem has been fixed. Thanks!

Where is /opt/click.ubuntu.com/libertine-scope.ubuntu/current? I don't have this folder in "home". Or I don't know where to find it...

@llamasjm 'home' is /home/phablet. You can reach the contents of "/" with the File Manager, opening the menu with the left-upper button, and then using your password to unlock. But you should better use the 'Terminal', so you can use the sudo command to make changes as to delete directories or files. Open Terminal from the Apps scope. Then do cd /, then ls. To change to directory dir use cd dir. To remove a file filename use sudo rm filename and enter your password. To remove a directory and its contents use sudo rm -r dir.
