I'm Joan, a little cloned android recreated from an alternative diment... ehem, ehem... I'm the one publishing all those Interactive Fiction into the store.
I love my main phone: bq E5 and my main tablet: bq m10.
I have been helping translating and testing some apps. I'm here to give some support if I can.

my name is Taavi (@salarelv) and from Estonia. I am a frontend developer doing mostly JavaScript at my workplace. I have also done some small QML (+Qt) apps and want to work on the core apps if possible.
Have Nexus 4 running UT. And a Jolla 1 as a daily driver. I hope we someday we can run the core apps on almost every platform.

Hi all,
the name is Peter Valachovič I am IT teacher from Slovakia, some years ago after finishing FIIT in Bratislava I've decided that I want to work on making world a better place, so I quit ERP systems maintaining and development and I teach on high school and help kids with studies in free time.

My phone of everyday use is Ubuntu BQ 5 HD, I was thinking about translations to Slovak even earlier, although I haven´t started yet. I´ll gladly help with testing apps and if I´ll have time (which is not really often) I can help with some apps development too

I own an Aquarius E5 HD, bought it for simple calling, reading and writing text with nano and coding with python.
Calling a friend without a intermission from some android-app.
To have a little more controll about that, what the apps are doing. ( Its a lot of "KISS -Keep it Simple and Stupid" that i like on the "UbuntuPhone")
I like your "we make it go" spirit and wish you the best for the future. (Dont lose hope, the interesting part is now starting

Hi all,

I am Sai, a 24 year developer from India who has previously contributed to gnome-music. Although I am a fan of music players, gnome shell as a desktop environment is not my favorite. When I heard the news of canonical scrapping I was taken aback and want to contribute to the development of yunit and ubports in any way I can.
I was wondering if someone can help me get my dev environment set up. I am currently using arch linux with gnome shell on a lenovo thinkpad.

Hi everyone,

I'm Stefano Verzegnassi, I'm 25 and I've been a community contributor and maintainer of some of the Ubuntu Touch projects.

My relevant contribution to the official projects are the Document Viewer (and its LibreOffice integration) and the Terminal app (I've been maintaining it in its latter days, before it moved under the Canonical "umbrella").
Other popular works I've been working on are UT Tweak Tool and InstantFX, which got a decent reception.

Unlike the other stories above, I'm a Political Science student with a strong interest for technology and Open Source. I've been using Ubuntu since 2007 or so, and I started to follow the UT project for its ambitious vision.

While I'm not yet sure of the time I could dedicate to the project, I'd be more than happy to help keeping UT alive.

I am Kristijan from Slovenia. I am not a programmer, but I have been using Ubuntu since 2009. I also own Ubuntu tablet M10 and Fairphone 2 (still on Android). I love to test beta programs, search for bugs and help with translations.
I really hope to use Unity 8 as a convergence OS.

I own a BQ 4.5 acquaris as a daily driver and thanks to you @ubports hope i will keep it as long as possible ;-). I will pleased to contribute to the project if i can. Hi, I'm Walter from Barcelona, Spain. I use a Bq Acquaris E5 HD with UT as my only smartphone, and I think it is the best phone I ever had. I hope we can keep these phones and others, and also complete the convergence one day. Keep up the good work, I will try to help as much as I can.
