Hi, I tried dark theme on my OPO by editing ~/.config/ubuntu-ui-toolkit/theme.ini (changed Ambiance with SuruDark).
It worked well in Settings, Telefon, Contacts and Sturm Reader for example. Is it possible to activate the SuruDark-theme just for specific apps?

Unfortunately not, most apps were developed not considering the dark mode even if the toolkit already provides a standard way of doing colors. The only reliable approach at the moment is to set to Ambiance again and set themes per app.

Thanks, I immediately set Ambiance again, because dekko2 and some other Apps were unuseable.
But how is it possible to set themes per app if the GUI doesn't support it?

@thilov Sadly you can't do anything but to request it from the developer

                well or providing a pull/merge request... 😉
You could look at the examples of the near past and learn from them how to do it... if you're interested in trying I can post a links to the changes made in old telegram app or the clock for example (when I'm back at the pc)...
