A friend has a 2013 Nexus 7 tablet that she's offered to give to me. I was wondering, in light of the tablet being six years old, how well or badly Ubuntu Touch runs on it. So, I'm turning to the community -- specifically, anyone who's install UT on a Nexus 7.

Is Ubuntu Touch slow on the device? Are there any display issues? Problems with wifi? That sort of thing.

      Thanks in advance!

@magicalex75 No issues for me works well and a nice size of tablet. Looks like it's free so why not give it a go UT much better than old android 🙂

I haven't tried UT on my Nexus 7 2013 for the past 1-2 years but it was working well since the beginning of UT 😉
It's a nice way to experience UT in a tablet and an give you a decent desktop mode as well 🙂

I have it on mine, it's nice and responsive. Camera doesn't work at all, but I hardly ever used that anyway.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I'm definitely going to give it a shot. If nothing else, it keeps another device out of the landfill or someone's drawer.
