Oneplus 3T installation with ubports-installer 0.4.14-beta

Hi All,
Having an issue getting UT installed on my Oneplus 3T. I can start the installer but after about 30 seconds of downloading ubuntu touch I get the error:
Connection to device lost...Try again.
When I click 'Try again' it says 'Waiting for device' then back to
Connection to device lost...Try again.
Anyone able to suggest anything i'm missing?

Hi Lakotaubp,
Set screen lock to 'none' and switched display 'sleep' mode to 30 minutes but still same thing happens it starts downloading then 'Preparing.....' then
Connection to device lost...Try again.

@shapley Up near the start is a section on flashing twrp with fastboot then using that to reset/fix cache, system and data. After that just rerun the installer and all should be ok.
