It's the same as messaging notification.
IIRC it's something like : Seetings > Sound > Messages

Are you sure? I changed message sound but calendar still uses default sound.

@dreamwebspace In system settings, sounds, you can change ringtone an message received sounds. As far as I know there are not different sounds for messages received and calendar reminders (edit: in app or settings). Alarm sounds can be different but thats another thing.

@dreamwebspace Thats what I said, its in the app settings. There is no such setting in the calender app itself. There are as far as I can remember no other settings that can be altered.

You're right, the calendar sound is different from the standard notification and from the clock app.
I only know about those two.

I'll take a closer look when I'll be at home.

It seems the calendar uses this file by default : /usr/share/sounds/ubports/ringtones/Marimbach.ogg

I didn't find how the call was made to understand why it seems hardcoded.
If you wish to customize it, you can (but not recommended) set the partition to RW, then change this file it should work...

Of course I will. Default sound is horrible. Thanks!

                        Replaced with Mallet.ogg from notifications.
(why are Calendar and Notes using ringtones for notifications?)

                          I wish I knew 🤷
That's bothering me even if I don't need to change it I found it a bit off...
