Just wondering if it may be possible to extend the number of digits required for the unlock PIN? I know that a password may be used instead, but the large numerical keypad is handy for quickly entering the code. I was curious to know if (in a future build) it could be set to use, perhaps, six digits, or even a user customisable value?

      Cheers,

      graham.

I second that. That's a good idea to allow pin code to be >= 4.
It's the case for the sim pin and it improves security a lot.

My voicemail service has also just gone from 4 to 6 digits so maybe time to upgrade. You can always put in a feature request https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues

Thanks @AppLee! I was just filling in the ticket when I spotted the "similar issues" and noticed you'd already beaten me to it. 👍
