hello pretty new to ubports got me nexus 5 up and running about 3 months stable now just looking for a bit of advice would like to turn this phone into my wifi hotspot at home wifi once found seems to run ok at min run another nexus 5 with lineage os as my home internet via hotspot(only internet is phone sim) what i would like to do is maybe run something like pi hole as to block ads to all my devices connected by hotspot basicly turning my ub phone into a home router and is this something a noob should forget about any help would be great

You can install uAdBlock : https://open-store.io/app/uadblock.mariogrip
This app blocks ads at system level.I don't know if it works for shared connections but I would say that is the easiest way.
You can encounter some trouble activating the hotspot on your phone, but if you search this forum you may find useful information about it. -
@tesla If you haven't already install UT TweakTool it has many uses.

also i am playing about with a ir blaster is there any audio recorder i can use where i can see the wave is audacity possible?
