But is this something that everyone sees on phones supporting 4G on dev or rc channel ? If so, what is the explanation?

Coming from canonical OTA 15 to UBP OTA 11 last week, had "4G" on them (or H for 3G, and E for 2G).
Now on RC i have "L" (still H for 3G).
        MX4.

@Keneda If I don't remember it wrong I think that Flohack gave an explanation regarding the L and it stands for LTE.

@stan If you want to test OTA12 check that your apps are all upto date. Go to the OpenStore and check there. Then go to System Settings, Updates, then Update settings on the next page change the channel to RC. Then go back and install the update.

@AppLee yep, DL was quick, but update got stuck on the boot screen for 10s of minutes. I had to force a reboot and everything seems to be fine now.

However, the automatic download for version 304 of the non-RC channel is still downloaded and ready to install in Sys Settings -> Updates.

How can I get rid of that?
Where does the updater store the downloads?

                    Thanks

The answer is somewhere on this forum.
Posted in the last couple of months I think. I'll go to sleep but I will try to dig that up tomorrow if not answered meanwhile.

@0xPIT swipe the update to the right, a trashcan is shown, press it and it is hopefully gone.

If the method from Rondarius doesn't work for you, that's what I dug up :

The flight mode still is not working correctly for fairphone2 (long standing bug...). I have to restart the device whenever I (accidently) activated it. Wifi comes back after turning the flight mode off, but the connection to LTE cannot be restablished. Even though I have to reenter the pin for the sim cards (which in itself is unusual), there is no connection to the network, I can't call or be called, and no mobile data usable.

This works for e.g. "Recent updates", but not for "Updates Available" - those can't be swiped -> bug?
