Parsec will install on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Desktop and Android.

If it is possible to run Parsec on Ubuntu Touch, I would be more willing to get a Linux phone.

      Thanks!

I don't know what Parsec is. But I can say that if it is not in the OpenStore then it is not optimized for mobile/touch devices. And Ubuntu Touch is still based on 16.04 for the moment, so if it is not in the Xenial repo's you'll probably have difficulty installing it under Libertine too.

If you would give more context, for example what Parsec is, I would be more willing to to ponder your question.

            Good luck!

It looks like it's a stream gaming solution : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tv.parsec.client&hl=en_US

@Keneda Exactly that! My goal was to let my phone replace my laptop by using Parsec to portal into a desktop much more capable than a laptop. I would use a keyboard and track pad accessory with my phone.

I wanted to go with Ubuntu Touch over GraphineOS or LineageOS for the better privacy, but I recently found that Parsec's privacy policy is hot garbage.

I would still love to hear your feedback to my original question! May change my mind.

                Thanks πŸ™‚

If i had feedback to give you i would already have given.
I don't know if it's possible to run parsec on uTouch, with libertine maybe, but don't know if it would be usable for gaming like that.

Maybe porting it native to UBports...

Maybe you should search an alternative open source solution, like this one : https://moonlight-stream.org/
Maybe it will be easier to motivate people porting it to uTouch.
Note that i just did a quick search and maybe there is beter open source solution for remote game streaming.
