    persistent windowed mode

      is there a way to keep usage mode persistent? i like windowed mode, would be nice to keep it after a reboot

        @pixelated Install UT Tweak Tool : https://open-store.io/app/ut-tweak-tool.sverzegnassi
        Then in the unity 8 section, go in "usage mode" settings ("mode d'utilisation" in french) and choose "windowed"

        2015-Now : Meizu MX4 (Stable) now for web use
        Spare : Nexus 5 (Stable), now for daily use

          i already do that, but it is not persistent, after reboot it has to be set again

            I dont use this option so dont know if normal behavior but seems to me that it's not.
            Wait for someone who can answer that, sorry i can't help further.

              Perhaps you can check how UTTT does the switching to windowed mode and if it's just a script, you can add something in upstart which can be triggered every boot. Scaling for example can be done this way, actually it's what UTTT does to be persistent.
