      Greetings. Is there a way to wake the Nexus 5 without using the power button, which is difficult to reach when the phone is in a case. The Active Screen application is unsuitable as it keeps the screen on continuously. I want the screen to sleep on the timer, but wake on tapping or swiping for example. My experiments so far have not revealed a way to do it.

        I don't think there are viable alternatives.
        What I can think is plugging and unplugging charger or unlock key via BT keyboard.
        These are obviously not good for daily use
        😅

            ...waking works when getting "in charging contact" with qi /wireless charging device. The Nexus is waking each time you put it onto/
            remove it from the devive. Contactless...

                Double-Tap Wake/Sleep feature on Android is very useful.
                I wish I could use the feature on UT.
