Audible reminders

I would like to rely on an application to provide audible timed and dated reminders of tasks. The only one I have found is Notes, however the sound only lasts a few seconds and is easily missed despite using the loudest available. I want to request that the sound is repeated until cancelled by me, perhaps with a time limit of say five minutes to conserve the battery. How do I go about making that request? If that is not feasible, is there an alternative approach to my problem of audible reminders? -
It seems the Notes-app is receiving some love recently...so that I would second your will to add such a feature request in the list of issues you posted, go ahead
