Wallpaper folder?
-
Hi,
In which folder do I find my custom wallpapers? I've changed the wallpapers a few times using: Systemeinstellungen -> Hintergrund -> Benutzerdefiniert (I have to guess the english version, it might be: system settings -> wallpapers -> custom) Now, I want to collect all my wallpapers and save them elsewhere.
Any help would be welcome.

Any Ideas?

@connochaetes
Well you're right and also was @domubpkm I cannot delete a custom background from the settings.I don't know where it is stored.
I guess you opened the issue in the right repository, but the tracker is not meant for help and you should be more patient on the forum. You might want to modify your issue to address the fact that it's not possible to delete added custom backgrounds.

@AppLee Thanks for your forum advice. Perhaps, I'll try it in the way intended by you.
@domubpkm Thanks for the link.Just to prevent a misunderstanding: It 's just that I don't know the location of the wallpaper files. Obviously, at this moment, I am not able to get this information by reading the source code - without any hints.

With some
find
commands I managed to find where the background picture is stored.
You can find the custom pictures copied in:/userdata/system-data/var/lib/lightdm-data/phablet/ubuntu-system-settings/Pictures/
There is a subfolderSystem
where the current background is copied if it's a default one.
The default background pictures are stored in:/usr/share/backgrounds/
And thanks for being patient and understanding.

@AppLee Thank you for your quick and helpful response. In theory, the usage of the
find
command seemed to be an appropriate approach. Sadly, the details weren't clear to me.It 's nice to experience that experts and newbies can communicate friendly in this forum. This way, casual users are enabled to use UBports. Thanks to the UBports community.
