Instead of adb shell, you can use SSH. You can easily set it with UT Tweak Tools.
Then connecting to your phone using SSH and instead of push you can use SCP.I never installed Anbox, so I only know the workaround your ADB issue.
And with SSH you only have to connect your phone to your wifi, no need of cable. -
tried ssh but it didn't worked. "phablet@192.168.2.239: Permission denied (publickey)."

@pinetaco right, you have to send your public key to your phone.
As a workaround for ADB, you can use bluetooth if your computer has it or Telegram, Syncthing, Nexcloud or other way to share a file (QR Code, ...)I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Is it detected anywhere else? Nexus 5 micro-USB port can be finicky and in my personal experience, it's really hard to have a reliable wired connection with any of my phones so I just gave up and ise wireless connection like SSH as much as possible
