Hello, community. The language of the Ainu people is a very small language, but you can still create a translation of system texts into this language. I mean the dialect of Kamchatka.

For me it's no problem to translate some of the system files if the development team agrees, and I can also translate any application if you need it.

Why? I want as many people as possible to know about this language. And also people who study it can use UT to see it more often.

How do you feel about such ideas and whether it is necessary to do it at all?

Off toppic: All I know about Ainu culture is from Golden Kamui anime. It's in season 3 and it gets better & better. Before I didn't knew anything about Ainu people.

Good luck with translation & propagation. My opinion is, that every language matters.

I think ubports is open for any translation in uTouch, but it has to be a maintainer.

Hi, do you have a language code for it? I did not find it on our translation server... Is this a language supported by Unicode?

Apparently there is a unicode for it according to wikipedia : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katakana_Phonetic_Extensions

@silvertine This is very intriguing. How proficient are you in Ainu language?
I would be interested in this, and learning more about the language.

@Flohack The Ainu language is usually written in Latin. Katakana only the Japanese record : )

Also, most likely there was its own writing system, but it will have to make a separate font for it.

Wow. So curious. Any recommendations on where to start with learning Ainu?
