I think it was said that the OTA-2 was planned to become available this week and i see on GitHub that the 15.04 OTA-2 milestone is 100% complete, but my phone does not indicate any available update.

Do i have a problem with my phone, plans have changed or it's actually going to show up any minute now? πŸ™‚

@hans1977se It's gone to rc channel now, if all good, should be released soon.

Plus we got a bug for the webbrowser on the legacy devices, so we cannot ship it until this is resolved πŸ™‚

@nikhilbhalwankar Nice! I'm looking forward to try it. πŸ™‚

I was thinking about switching to rc, but then i thought i might as well just wait a few more days. πŸ™‚

I know it depends where you are but it's getting kind of late today (Saturday 23rd September). Could be a little late, I guess.

I have just recently been able to install UBPorts on to my bq M10, it currently has r1 under the build number. I really think that we need to make UBPorts stand out a bit and look different to UT. When I installed UB I had to reboot to check that it was Ports and not UT, as there looked no difference.

@flohack, so if it is there now, does that mean that it eill e downloaded to our devices, so we can update? I only ask this as I have ported yesterday and today still nothing in updates and my OS is still on r1

                          Its there now!!!

Congratulations and many thanks to you and everyone else involved to pull this off! πŸ™‚

Special thanks for making it available for Nexus 4 as well! I know some people have their doubts on how useful it is to put effort into supporting this device, but imho it works very well.

Both upgrading from r1 on my Nexus 5 and fresh install on my Nexus 4 went in with absolutely no hassle at all. Great work!

I think this project is really great, and i hope i'll be able to find ways to contribute more to it in the future. There is just too many things that needs attention at the moment. πŸ™‚

I hope you'll take the time to celebrate this very nice milestone before you move on to the next problem in line! πŸ™‚

Looks good for now. Some of my issues, like the notification LED not working on the Nexus 5, are fixed. That was really annoying. Also not working uTorch doesn't matter anymore because of the flashlight switch under the battery indicator. Very nice solution.

I agree, but it's a bit odd that it is put under battery tab i think. πŸ™‚ I think it would have made more sense to rename the Rotation tab to Shortcuts or Toggles and put it there.

I could add that for the Nexus 4 fresh install i used "sudo ubuntu-device-flash --server=http://system-image.ubports.com touch --device=mako --channel=15.04/stable --bootstrap" instead of the command on the ubports website to install from the stable channel instead of the development channel.

@RandomUser Just found what your on about. Try installing indicator torch from the open store. Makes it a little easier to use. It just sits in the top panel ready and waiting.

@Lakota Why would I install an extra torch indicator when it's right there in the battery indicator? How much easier does it need to get?

@RandomUser Already had it installed before the update as a trial, but it didn't work then does now. Suppose it depends how lazy you feel.☺
