Marius earlier this week hinted that some people are less than supportive in the the wider Linux community about the work that he and others do in open source, at least that was my reading. I just wanted to say that I REALLY appreciate what you (the wider UB Ports family) have done for us that want a Linux phone. I really enjoy the Q & As (currently watching 94 late), mainly because I see a range of people across the world that really enjoy each other's company and working on a project that they are proud of. They are always fun to watch. I wish I could get more involved and help. I do little more than buy and use the phones and run the software, but nothing make me happier than using a Ubuntu phone.
So, please keep doing what you are doing, and I for one appreciate all that you do.
The number of trolls in the Linux community is really incredibly frustrating. For coming across as tremendous nerds it's amazing that these people don't seem to realize that open source comes with the freedom of a) forking, b) contributing, or c) keeping your mouth shut and use something else if you're not happy.
It's the curse of internet comment sections in general: people with something valuable to add are generally less interested in spending a large portion of their lives posting on message boards. So always nice when people make sure to voice the non-toxic opinion of the silent majority!
