@skafander Yeah, that's a known issue on the Nexus 5. It's a weird bug. There was a time it started to work then it stopped working again šŸ˜…

Anyway, the suggested setup is to connect a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. That way you can use it almost like a desktop. The virtual touchpad isn't good enough for long use anyway.

@skafander May I ask on which channel are you on - stable, rc, or devel?
I tried the virtual touchpad again on my Nexus 5 and it works now.

@kugiigi sure, thanks for engagement ! I used instant ubuntu installer so probably stable OTA-16.

@skafander Sorry, I was wrong. It isn't fixed yet, at least in any of the channels.

                    Here's the related issue.

You can see my comment at the bottom about a possible fix. If you really want you can try the fix now.

@skafander It's not actually my PR though I was the one who discovered it fixed the virtual touchpad. The PR was intended to fix another issue šŸ˜„

@skafander sadly now it's just for video, but I remember seeing an old issue from canonical times where they were working to add audio support as well.. I am wondering now if i really understood that correctly or not.

Yeah, no audio routing at the moment. Someone needs to implement it but so far, external display use cases aren't really a priority.
