      Hello!
I've not been to this forum for a long time.
I already had some experience with ubuntu on my Oneplus One and also on Oneplus 3.
Then there were some video playback issues (though not only that).
I am talking about the MP4 format.
On Oneplus 3 video was not played at all.
And only short video (approximately 5-10 minutes) was played on Oneplus One.
So questions to Ubuntu Touch users of all smartphone models:
Does your smartphone model play 50+ min or 500+ MB video?
Please give me an answer in the format like:
My model is ... - the problem with the video is the same as yours
      or
My model is ... - I have no problems with the video.
      Thank You All in advance.
      Kyrylo.

I believe it is a common problem on many UT devices, including my N5. The solution for me was to install the Video Player application. It handles mp4 files that Media Player can not.

        PS. UTmedia also works.

@kyrylo I'm using an OpO and I have no idea whether it plays large MP4 videos, because I have never tried that. It seems inconvenient to me, as if you are trying to watch a movie through the mail slot in the front door of your house.

          Is currently using an Op5t
Also owns an Op1 and a BQ E4.5. And an Xperia X. Please, someone... make it stop.

            @moem Thanks for your reply.
But what's the use of video recording with my OPO's camera if I can't even check if it's a good take?
P.S.: anyway if you can help me, I'll be grateful.

@kyrylo on my Galaxy Note 4 I can watch a full length movie from SD in a mp4 format, it takes a few minutes for it to load, but it does play and keeps the sync for about 90% of the video

Whether you think you can, or you can't, if you do not try, you will never truly know. So give it a Go.

@kyrylo welcome, however I would not advise getting a galaxy note 4 as my port is very incomplete, its missing call audio and has a few other issues I need to address, but I lack the time to do so
