I've been testing my Pinephone UBports CE running release candidate version 8. With file manager network setting, I can access a public folder on my Ubuntu 18.04 PC. If I click on a jpg file, a progress bar seems to indicate a file transfer is occurring. However, when I search Downloads and Pictures on the Pinephone, I can't find the file.
Can anyone explain what is happening?
(I've successfully downloaded files to my Nexus 4 which is running OTA-16).

@keneda Works fine to access my PC from my N4 and my BQ Aquaris M10 tablet, both running UT OTA-16.
Didn't expect Pinephone to work, but I wonder where the file got copied to?
BTW, thanks for the forum link - interesting.

@dtarrant It works fine in both ways, from PC to device and from device to PC?

@keneda I've only tried network transfer from PC to UT.
I've used wifitransfer and bluetooth transfer to send files to my PC (but not from Pinephone).
Pinephone sends music to bluetooth speaker OK.
