A couple OTAs ago, Tux Racer stopped working. When a new, working version came out I installed it. It worked, the old one didn't, and both appeared in my list of installed apps. The catch was I couldn't uninstall the old version, uninstall just failed silently.

Mysteriously, old Tux Racer now works again after OTA 16. But I still can't uninstall it, so I've got two side-by-side. What's up with this, and what should I try? Thanks for any ideas.

@robthebold Have you tried UT TweakTool. Try removing the cache, data etc before then removing the app.

Thanks. Didn't even know about that. Ok, removed 12kB of config -- no other cache or data listed in UT Tweak, but I checked them for removal anyway.

But app still can't be removed. If I click the red remove button or the trash can, I get the confirmation dialog, I confirm and the dialog disappears -- but the app does not.

@robthebold I Think you must try first to uninstall everything you can of the two .click you have if i understood well... Then reboot your phone. Try now to uninstall if it remains something of the .click. Then install now the last .click...

@domubpkm OK, this time I removed the cache, config and data from both the older and latest apps, and immediately I could delete the old one from UT Tweak tool.

I double checked if it was indeed gone, then made sure the remaining app worked and success in both cases.

Thanks for all the suggestions, and also a shout-out to developers, maintainers and packagers of the funnest game on the platform!
