I notice that Miroil has seen some recent activity. 👍

I know it's been touched on in previous Q&A sessions (including one featuring @alan_g as a guest), but would you please expand on:
            (1) how Miroil will help UBports upgrade to Mir 2.3+ and
            (2) why that's a good thing for UT and Lomiri?

No question, but I would like to congratulate you on this milestone! It's been a huge amount of work a lot of people put into this and for sure a lot of stress along the way as well. Thank you!

@gizmochicken I'd like to add a third point to that: will it mean that we will finally have a working display on the Raspberry Pi 4 running Ubuntu Touch? Rather a minority interest question perhaps.

Way back in the Canonical days I bought a BQ E4.5. When support was dropped some functionality was initially lost but now, under UBports and the community, the development and functionality of Ubuntu Touch and its apps is very much improved. Any thoughts on how far Ubuntu Touch has come in the last 5 years and how much further we may get in the next 5?

@ubportsnews In ubuntu touch the system file and folder manager should be improved and unified so that there is the possibility to connect to any type of server (smb, ftp, webdav, afp, etc.) such as thunar, nemo, fluff, pantheon, etc. and that it can be called from the share button by any user app. This would also simplify the work of developers. I ask if this is planned for the near future?Thank you

There's any plans, in the future, to add A-GPS like in Canonical times with Here services?
                      Thank you! Happy 100 Q&A

Looking through https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/ and comparing phone availability / price / features on swappa has me thinking the Google Pixel 3a (XL) should or could be considered the next device to carry the Nexus 5 / OPO torch as the next generation preferred / promoted device? Am I wrong? 🙂

Is there any ETA on when the Pinephone will be added to the installer?
