      I was a bit too eager to try out the Anbox on my Nexus 5 Ubuntu Touch device and messed up the install according to the instructions posted here: https://docs.ubports.com/en/latest/userguide/dailyuse/anbox.html

      Instead of using adb to execute the anbox-tool install, I used sudo anbox-tool install from the Ubuntu Touch terminal app. I don't see an anbox-tool command for reinstalling or uninstalling anbox-tool.

      Will I be okay or do I need to take some further action to repair my mistake? Thanks in advance.

        @dnaod You're right. Installing Anbox on Nexus 5 is indeed:

        sudo anbox-too install

        anbox-tool is also able to run:

        sudo anbox-tool enable
        sudo anbox-tool disable
        sudo anbox-tool upgrade

        Unfortunately, there's no single command to uninstall Anbox, but a few steps that you can run, take a look at:

          @stanwood Phew. Thanks for confirming that was an acceptable method of installing as well. It wasn't clear to me if the adb bridge had any additional privilege or access than sudo directly in Ubuntu Touch.

          I'm really eager to start playing with this functionality.

            @dnaod Glad to help 😉

            Please note that Anbox is at a very experimental stage yet, lot of apps do simply not work (when not crash at opening...)

            A project is ongoing to improve this, there will be a brand new Anbox system that will be based on LineageOS. There are interesting information here:
