hello i found a problem width Ubports and google for the SMS
if your friend have a android phone width chat mode activate you in the ubports OS you not receive this SMS...one solution ?

@yannesc RCS is like iMessage or Singal messages except without encryption, if you look it up theres plenty of videos and news articles about it, and I'm wondering if your friend enabled RCS for you on his android device, because Ubuntu Touch doesn't currently support RCS.

@yannesc This is probably RCS. I had this issue also.
I disabled the Chat Features in the stock Android Messaging App.
Messages >> | (Hamburger Menu) >> Settings >> Chat features >> Enable chat features

Sending message with google messaging app in RCS mode should not be a problem, normally, it should convert to SMS or MMS if contact doesn't have RCS on his phone/carrier.But this is what should happens, and sometime with this kind of things it's not what really happens ^^
