CovPass app for UT?
-
Would it be possible to port this CovPass app to UT?
-
Hi @bmarbol
This app is mostly Kotlin which is Java.Java won't work with UT so basically everything has to be rewrote for UT hence it is easier and faster to create another app from scratch.
From a more technical stand point, using Java is possible but you'll have to include all the java stuff (yeah not too technical...) within your click package this means that the app will be very large hundreds of MB and consuming a huge amount of RAM on the device...
Not something anyone would want for a good experience. -
@bmarbol I don't speak of port but anbox for android apps : Now with the current working anbox, I don't know. But probably more chance that this app can work with the new anbox project in a few months in case this anbox is supported by the smartphone you own (will own).
