I got my Pixel 3a ported and it’s amazing! Right till I found out that Verizon doesn’t work on it at all. I know it’s an issue with VoLTE, but I heard a rumor that PinePhone can work on Verizon, is this true?

@heyspencerb Yes, using modem manager based OSes - anything with phosh such as manjaro, mobian, arch, etc. UT is ofono based. There's a project to get VoLTE going with ofono, no results yet.

@rocket2nfinity ok, so some hardware with different formware, but no UT phones work yet? Im enjoying UT a lot even only on wifi, so I think I'll stay on UT and just keep an eye on the VoLTE progress.

you can activate a Verizon Wireless 4G LTE or compatible unlocked phone on a monthly plan. Be sure your device is unlocked if you are transferring from another carrier.

I just switched from verizon to mint why would you support those low down dirty device lockers?
