UBports installer : certificate error
-
Hi all,
I try to install VollaOS or SailfishOS from a UbuntuTouch on a Volla Phone with UBports installer (v0.8.9), and I get a certificate error when it try to download ressources.
Error: core:download: Error: core:download Error: Error: Download Error: https://ota.volla.tech/volla-9.0-20201019-nightly-k63v2_64_bsp-signed.zip Error: certificate has expiredMy internet connection is fine and I don't have any proxy.
Am I missing something?

Hi and welcome @jules-0
From what I can see you better report this to Volla as it seems that their certificate expired and wasn't replaced.
Also maybe it's still something due to the letsencrypt's recent "bug". -
@jules-0 - I can confirm the same problem when I tried to reflash my Volla yesterday to a fresh UT install - on both 0.8.8 and 0.8.9 (deb on Ubuntu Budgie 21.04).
Best regards,

Does this mean that at the moment NO installers are working properly with the Volla or else you will end up with a smartphone that is temporarily "bricked" / unusable?
Is the advice: be careful not to use any installer at the moment with the Volla ?

@jules-0
You can locate where the file should be downloaded and then paste it in there after downloading it directly with your browser from the link you pasted here https://ota.volla.tech/volla-9.0-20201019-nightly-k63v2_64_bsp-signed.zip that i tested working. Then you start installer again and it should work without trying to download.
I red someone on the forum that had the same error than you and sorted it this way.

@AppLee @domubpkm @TotalSonic Looks like I got an answer from their support, their servers are in maintenance, but should be done for tuesday, and still this error in ubports installer.
@Keneda good idea, it's worked for me too.
For windows version of ubports path is like that :
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\ubports\yggdrasilThanks for your answers
