I guess we would need a team who wants to takeover the project.

Everyone has been wishing for an excellent dekko for UT for years but it will never be because it can't be for a free mail client to much time consuming to develop a great solution for '5 euros', so we have to do it another way.
FairEmail (from Marcel Bokhorst, a great developer) is a so good mail client for me that I decided to get the paid solution, installed in a Volla under Volla OS. And i think FairEmail should integrate perfectly with UT with Waydroid but I don't have the need to use waydroid for the moment, so not tested on it. Dekko is in my personal use only a notifier and mail reader, never used for a long time to write mails.
Dekko is still far too buggy, this is simply a statement of the current situation as demonstrated by the number of issues reported. -

I think that 'it seems to be in standby' is the concrete news in this case. It's not happy news but it is concrete.
