        @keneda

        [EN] - Thank you keneda,

Actually, I would like to know where to find the UT image files for the OP6T in order to do a manual install. My first installation of UT was done this way.

For example, for Mobian the manual installation is very simple (https://wiki.mobian-project.org/doku.php?id=install-android) with 2 .img files and 3 command lines

        ~$ fastboot flash boot mobian-<device>-phosh-YYYYMMDD.boot-<variant>.img
        ~$ fastboot -S 100M flash userdata mobian-<device>-phosh-YYYYMMDD.root.img
        ~$ fastboot erase dtbo

I'm not a great technician, but UT must also be manually installable, right?

Is it still possible to proceed in this way? Are there still .img files for UT? If they don't exist, can we create these .img files from source?

As much as possible, I would like to directly install UT without doing all the very complicated process of using the UT installer.

        Thank you.

        .

        .
        [FR] - Merci keneda,

        ~$ fastboot flash boot mobian-<device>-phosh-YYYYMMDD.boot-<variant>.img
        ~$ fastboot -S 100M flash userdata mobian-<device>-phosh-YYYYMMDD.root.img
        ~$ fastboot erase dtbo

        Merci.

@webmust Download the stock ROM (Android 9) from here.

Extract it and then you have to flash each file individually in fastboot. This will put it to the required Android version 9 and then you can flash UT.

Here at XDA-developers will tell you how. If you are using a Windows machine, I highly recommend flashing each file individually as described.

Either what @mrt10001 has posted or some kind of tool provided by OnePlus (that is probably used for a lot of other Qualcomm based phones too!) should be the way to go if you have a phone that can boot into Fastboot Mode 🙂

            My phones :

            • BQ Aquaris E5 HD Ubuntu Phone Edition - Ubuntu Touch 16.04 LTS
            • ZUK Z2 Pro - ZUI Android 8.x
            • Xiaomi Mi 9T - Jolla SailFish 3.4.x Community Build

            P.S. : I am NOT a developer! ;)

@nero355 , hi I would try twrp.me to get a new recovery and then in twrp recovery format, delete all...system, data, cache, everything. Still in twrp recovery reboot to bootloader and use the installer.... no waranty - my way. Twrp for oneplus6 here ~ https://twrp.me/oneplus/oneplus6.html
Good Luck. Hello World... if I am wrong, let us know, thanks. I like all oneplus.

                @webmust
I only know existing "roms" for MX4 and BQ devices (very old images from canonical days) and for Volla devices (recent).

I imagine that roms can be done for any device though, but i don't know how to do some, and asked for one UT ubports recent image version (see my thread in MX4 subforum), but did not get one, finally i used installer.

Anyway, try what my fellow forumers told you, that should be fine.

And if none of the above works, MSMdownload Tool at xda-developers will put you back to stock from the factory

@Webmust is the one with the issue here, not me! 😉

One of the options I was talking about is probably this one =>

...the downloaded rollback file has to be renamed...you need to delete the ".jar" then update local.
