      Tried this app .Seems to work but cannot see it very well . Maps are severely washed out. (Pixel3a)
      Anyone have any experiences with it.

        uNav maps on my Nexus 5 are indeed very pale colours, though not unusable. PureMap has slightly stronger colours and other features that make it my choice.

            There used to be an option to change the map provider and some of the options were clearer/bolder. If you select the settings and look through the options there is now no option to change maps..... but if you click on information (top rigjt) and scroll down the page there are links to several map providers.

            Was the change map option removed on purpose? Can it be reinstated? If not should the information page be updated?

              @ian While waiting for the request to be implemented (have you considered opening an issue?), the previous version with the map switching can be downloaded from here. But beat in mind that version has limited support for off-line navigation.
