Dual boot app : "No available channels"

Hello guys, I installed the Ubuntu dual boot app on my LG nexus 4 after rooting it with SuperSU. When I run the dual boot app, it doesn't ask me to grant the root access as it's supposed to, and it says "no available channels". Then I can't install Ubuntu Touch.
Is it a problem with the servers that are not maintained anymore ? Can I install ubuntu myself (without the app, by flashing the recovery for example ?), or is there another solution to get a dual boot ?
The nexus 4 runs android 5.1.1.

@ub Sorry but dual boot is not officially supported by UBports and of those that have managed I cannot remember the use of an app being mentioned.

@lakotaubp Alright I see. Somebody made an app a long time ago : https://youtu.be/CXooGX4HMEM. The idea was to run ubuntu from android with the app.
And if I understood well, Ubuntu was flashed on the recovery partition.
I'm wondering if I can do that myself in some way (just replacing the recovery with ubuntu to be able to choose between android or ubuntu). -

There is an app on openstore for multi-purpose uses, including dual boot, but only for devices that have a/b slots, and like you said, that is NOT an ubport app.https://open-store.io/app/switch-my-slot.shouko
I don't think it's the app OP is talking about as N4 and N5 are not a/b slots devices.
Plus this is a very old video as we can see UT is still having its old scope and store from canonical era.EDIT
Comment from the video poster, 4 years old :Few comments about this video: this was filmed/edited before Canonical canceled the project several days ago. This video is a response to the demand/questions from viewers regarding installing Ubuntu Touch OS on our previous videos. Although it seems unlikely that Ubuntu Touch will continue to gain much traction, it remains a beautiful study in UI design, and a fun project to try out. Enjoy!
We can say this is deprecated... And @Ub should not try it.

@keneda That sounds interesting, I'll think about it if I get an a/b slots device in the future. For now I think I will use a regular single boot to keep things simple.
