Ubuntu Touch Q&A 119 is this Saturday 25th June at 19:00 UTC and will be a Lomiri and Mir on desktop special. We will also be joined by Alan Griffiths from Canonical's Mir Team to discuss what is happening from their end. Forum questions get priority so please post them using the forum link before the event and Youtube Lomiri and Mir questions will get priority, though we may not have time to get round to them all in this edition. Real question, are we going to see the multi-monitor support anytime soon? Staged mode on the phone while windowed mode on the external monitor?

What are your thoughts on how to improve the Lomiri development in terms of new features and UI enhancements?
Do you think that once its on Debian repository the contribution into lomiri may rise up?

Hi, what is the plan to make halium source to build non gsi system images for halium 10/11. Because add libs to bind mount is not a good solution. And if we can make a system image for our device instead of using a generic image will solve a lot of issues.

with the new 20.04 based version we will see the use of the newer Mir version on UT.
what benefits will this change bring? will there be a performance improvement? do you already know what new features could be introduced with the new mir?

with the new base and the new mir will we finally see solved the problems that block the usability of UT on Rpi4?

we recently saw good progress in terms of feature coverage thank to ie Alfred an Alberto work. but these progress are on 16.04 based version. how much of these progress can be "ported" on 20.04 base?
