OTA-24 Call for Testing Companion Post
-
Hello everyone!
The expected release date for Ubuntu Touch OTA-24 is Friday, November 18th 2022.
This forum post is a companion to the OTA-24 Call For Testing
Please post any general observations you have while testing the current image in the RC channel, as compared to OTA-23, in this thread. The current release candidate (RC) is 2022-W45 or W45/2.
If you have any comments on any of the specific issues in the OTA-24 tracker, please post them in the issue thread so they are easier to track. OTA-24 tracker: https://github.com/orgs/ubports/projects/35
Please note that only critical and security fixes will be able to enter OTA-24 as this point, normal bug fixes and new features will need to wait for our next release. Please do not discuss normal bug fixes and new features here.

Everything seems to be fine for me in this update except with the SNCF (trains in France) which does not understand what this browser is (test). But it must be normal because with them.....

Not only with sncf.
This happens to me since a long time on a lot of sites.
Try fnac for instance...
Morph seems to be based on an too old version of... Chromium ?If i try to reach the link given by Flohack https://github.com/orgs/ubports/projects/35 i have a blank white screen...

@keneda The link works for me using Morph jfi.

If you are on stable, it's normal : old QtWebengine. If you are on last RC it's anormal as QtWebengine 5.15.10 update.
You are right for fnac site.

Yes i'm on OTA 23. -
Please remember this thread is about testing the release candidate channel for what will become OTA-24. All other results on any other channel are off topic here, but feel free to start another thread to discuss those if needed.
And also please keep the discussion in this thread to differences / regressions as compared to OTA-23. Any bugs already present in OTA-23 and still present in OTA-24 but not on the OTA-24 tracker, are likewise off topic.
