Dekko 2 hangs upon Gmail setup

I tried to setup Dekko 2 today. I ran it through the automatic settings (for gmail) and it just hangs at the credentials. Is there anything I can do?

You might want to have a look at them.The problem is from Google and it's a bit funky but it can work...
I have no details as I avoid Google because they don't serve their users so they are of no utility for me. -
@777funk Google does work on Dekko. Just use the one time password setup. I am on my phone so I don't have the links on how to get it.

@mrt10001 Yup, they're called app passwords and logging in won't work if you use your actual password. They're not really one time passwords but you can't see them again unless app let's you.

I went this route as well and still no luck with Dekko.
On the plus side, does a person really need to be constantly bothered with push notifications? lol.

@777funk There is a setting in your Google account that allows the use of "in secure" apps. Set that and then try the one time app password on Dekko.
