      Hi all,
      I upgraded my FP4 to 20.04 without wiping anything. I first used the installer and shortly after the ota channel when that became available. A bunch of apps remained installed that are currently unsupported, for example the tweak tools. How can I remove these? Going through the installed apps in the open store app I can select the trash can icon to remove them but nothing happens when doing so.

      Thanks.

          @gandalf If you try I found some of the tweak tool features still worked. If not, first try re install all apps from Sytem Settings, Update or and I don't like to say it bit re running through the installer with the wipe option will give a much better result. No bits of 16.04 left around. The Openstore you have on 20.04 will only deal with 20.04 Apps but I may be wrong.
          I tried RC on my FP4 today from System Settings Updates and you will end up with lots of apps still and many that will not work. Having tried other devices with a clean 20.04 for me it is a better experience of 20.04.

              No, I have seen but not tried the new version of the tweak tools. I'm also a bit wary of installing a second version over the current one.

              @Lakotaubp
              I don't use the tweak tools too much, but both enabling ssh access and restarting lomiri don't work (the functions I use the most).

              I'll most probably go for a full wipe as the FP4 is not my daily driver (yet).

              I'm not really using telegram, but that might change a bit...

                @gandalf I think the old version should still work for app managment, just that all the gsettings were renamed due to the lomiri name change, so things like the battery percentage, theme switch, launcher size, ect.

                      I just tried it and that doesn't work on the FP4 for left over apps from 16.04.

                      @Lakotaubp
                      Interesting, the battery % indicator doesn't work on the FP4 from the old tweak tools

                      ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'll wipe and flash 20.04 again for a clean system. 👍

                        @gandalf You need the one from here https://gitlab.com/mateosalta/ut-tweak-tool/-/pipelines follow the link down load the zip use File manager to open download folder, swipe right and use the extract option then work through to install the app.

                          Ah, yes, sure. I misread your answer as talking about the "old" tweak tools as well. 👍

                              I have found somthing that will unistall apps in terminal

                              click list
                              to see what clicks are installed

                              then
                              sudo click unregister notes.ubports

                                👍 Thanks. Too late for me as I finished a clean install already, but this might help others 🙂
