The other day, I wrote to Samsung Open Source. I sent them a link to the Ubuntu Touch site and explained what I wanted to do with my currently unused A01, and how users worldwide would be able to use it on their A01's when I'm finished...etc..."I just need the Linux kernel. Can you please help me out?"

I got an automated email yesterday morning stating that my request was under review, etc...and I expected a long, flowery, hard 'no'.

But this morning I woke up to find this email:

So, if anyone else is interested in helping with an A01 port, I can provide the full details of the link to the source code in a DM.

Also, for persons who get stuck on this sort of stuff...take a chance. Write to the people and ask a question. Sometimes you'll be pleasantly surprised.

What prevents you to give the full link here as this site is publicly available ?

I think your link points to the first of the list when we search "A01" in the search field (12 results) ^^

@Lakotaubp it seems that OP can't post here because of user privileges, could you correct that ?
