Update to focal - consequences for Waydroid

Hi, I have a few questions about the update to focal:
- What happens to Waydroid (and apps installed there like a messenger) when you switch to focal? Do I need to reinstall Waydroid and the apps?
- Is it correct that an update to focal must be done with the installer (OP5T)? Can future OTAs be installed via the device?

Waydroid data will be retained but you may have to reinitialize it again. No need to install
waydroidvia apt though.
As for the 2nd question, I'm not sure if there's a plan to make it available via OTA but so far it's only via the Installer which is quite simple anyway. -
@ma Waydroid for me kept its configuration (apps installed and so on) after the upgrade to 20.04. You have just to "init" it again, no need to reinstall it.

BTW, just to clarify, I remembered you can also upgrade to focal without using the installer. You just have to switch to the focal channel and install the OTA on the device itself.
