Any chance for Focal?

That depends fully on whether someone has the skills, the time, the willingness and also the device. It sounds to me like if you can find someone who has the first three factors, you could provide them with the fourth one... ?

@Moem Easily. But, United States only unless they want to pay shipping/customs. It's become too costly and too complex for me to send overseas.
Devices are free to whomever wishes to try. But, don't wait long because I'm clearing out the shop.

If posting this is enough to find someone, I think you should consider yourself very, very lucky!

Hi,
I just installed UBports with Ubuntu 16.04 on my old Nexus 6P which I reacquired from a relative for some hacking fun by following some posts around this forum.
Can someone point me to a guide or some instructions on how I can work on a port for Ubuntu 20.04 or later version for the Nexus 6p?
I am a software engineer at work so if you can point me to some How-To-Get-Started it would more than enough.

@MOVEQ
You can start from here : https://forums.ubports.com/topic/2068/halium-first-steps -
@MOVEQ You can find android 9 and later android builds (some with device tree) on Xda-developers N6P page

@rocket2nfinity The challenge does interest me, although I'm located in Canada. Do you still have the devices?
-
@Timespansoul I loaned them out to a group that wanted to show UT at the local makerfaire. If I get them back, I'll let you know. But, I expect them not to.

@rocket2nfinity Timing is everything.
-
@rocket2nfinity Showing up at the end of the fare to collect them ought to do the trick?
Seems like chances for Focal hangs in the balance there -
@Timespansoul PM me either here or Telegram
