It would probably be possible if most of the components are part of the SOC (wifi, modem, bluetooth ...). Even so, it will be necessary to fine-tune the rest, which is not part of the SOC in principle (camera, sensors ...).

I'm pretty sure the kernel is lacking the FTDI or whatever usb-serial driver your peripheral needs.
