RE: No Post Dates?
@below-freezing I have no clue what you're talking about. I'm confused about why does every thread and every post just say "posted" and not the post date/time stamp? It's very difficult to tell how relevant a thread and/or comment is if you don't know when it was posted. It was not like this a few weeks ago, now sure what happened.

Canonical failure to launch Sony Xperia Z1 & OnePlus One at MWC 2016?
Hey guys,
I was super stoked when Canonical announced they would be displaying the Xperia Z1 and OnePlus One at Mobile World Congress 2016 with full desktop convergence working. There was articles all around the web:
ie. http://news.softpedia.com/news/canonical-presents-sony-xperia-z1-and-oneplus-one-as-ubuntu-phones-500658.shtmlAnd as we know that didn't happen, though I was never able to find any details on why they didn't meet their promise. Does anyone here know what happened?

RE: Building Ubuntu Touch Image for Sony Xperia Z5 Compact
It looks like there is already a port for the z5 compact
@ https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/Devices/minato
It just appeared last month, so the OP in this thread was not aware at the time of his posting , I was following the xperia ubuntu porting heavily cuz I have a Z1 that I want to put ubuntu on but it doesn't look stable enough to be useful at the moment. -
RE: Nexus 5 bugs
I'm on Nexus 5 ubuntu15.04 rev 151 , rc_proposed, too
This issue might be related I've found that I cannot send picture messages over mms. Picture messages I receive I cannot open in full screen or download. The gallery does not display image thumbnails. Also confirming the video playback and flash does not work. I cannot record video with the back camera, but I can record video with the front camera (sometimes).

RE: Nexus 5 - Suggestions/Bugs
I agree why is there a OnePlus & Motorola category section in the forums but none for other devices like the Nexus line which seems to be one of the more popular devices in this community. I wouldn't want to fill up the general category with Nexus 5 specific topics.
Also a Nexus 5 user here.

RE: Trust, Accountability and Transparency.
I just became a patreon as well.. I trust that the funds are going to the appropriate party (Marius) and I trust that Marius is lead developer behind the ubports project. He has done some great work and is continuing to make improvements on a frequent basis. I strongly believe ubports is a great contribution to the open source community. His work is allowing me to use ubuntu touch on my nexus 5 as a daily driver, I would like to continue to use it and receive updates. This is why I am funding this project. Why does the cost breakdown matter so much, I don't care if the full costs to manage this project is $4 a month, I still want to support the project because I believe in the cause.
